Lifetime Warranty
Every handmade leather bag is crafted with care, skill, and intention. We want you to love your bag. We stand behind the craftsmanship of our American-made leather bags. It’s why we use vegetable tanned leather in all of our designs and build them to last.
We guarantee all of our bags for their lifetime from manufacturing defects.
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use in all of our vegetable tanned leather goods. This includes: Faulty stitching or seams, Hardware that breaks or fails under normal conditions and Structural failures due to defects in construction
If your bag shows a defect related to how it was made, we will repair or replace it at no cost.
What’s Not Covered:
Our warranty does not cover damage caused by: Normal wear and tear (scratches, scuffs, patina, etc.) Water damage, stains, or exposure to the elements, Accidents, misuse, or improper care, Cosmetic changes to the leather over time. We believe if you treat your bag right it will serve you for many years to come.
Because we use full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, natural changes like softening, darkening, or surface markings are normal—and part of what makes each bag uniquely yours.

This will sometimes require you sending your bag in for inspection. It’s important to be honest about the state of your bag so we can assess your needs properly. We want to see your bag have the longest life possible. Please note some damage may not be fixable like holes cut into the leather, stains, spills, if it's been run over by a semi truck, cut in half by a chain saw, or get’s thrown into the lake, you get the idea. Send us an email hello@hemlockandhyde.com, with images of your bag/repair needs and a brief description and we'll get back to you.
