How long does it take to get my bag?

Once you place your order it usually takes about 6 weeks from the date of order for bags to ship. We are made to order, so your bag is made just for you. We can sometimes accommodate special dates( birthdays, anniversaries, promotions etc) if its close to the 5-6 week mark but if you need your bag tomorrow, we don't offer rush orders. Send us a note and we'll let you know if it's possible.

What is your return policy?

In a nutshell, you have 14 days from when your order is delivered to return it. It must be returned in original condition. (you can keep the business card/postcards if you want) Once we get the bag back, we’ll inspect it for wear and issue refunds accordingly. Send us an email if you have any questions, we’re here to help. Full details are on our Shipping/Returns page.

 

What kind of leather do you use?

We only use Vegetable Tanned Leather. It's the kind of leather your grandfather knew and is free of Chromium salts like the ones used in the Chrome Tanned process. Veg Tan is know for its durability, patina, and gets better with every wear. Our leather comes from one of the last Veg Tan Tanneries left in the United States. All of our bags are free from plastic fillers. Even our stuffed handles are stuffed with more leather.

 

What kind of hardware do you use?

We only use solid brass hardware, no plated metals here. Plated hardware can wear and reveal a different color metal underneath which we think looks worse over time. Known for its strength and timeless beauty, brass will patina alongside your leather bag; and be a perfect compliment. Sorry Silver lovers.

 

Do you do custom designs? Do you add pockets, zippers?

Unfortunately we do not. While we don’t offer custom designs; shoot us an email with your order number, if you need a longer strap on your bag. That is something we can definitely do! 

 

Can you bring back a discontinued design or color?

Designs/Colors get discontinued for all sorts of reasons so once they're gone, they're gone. Discontinued items are sometimes available on our Pre-Loved Section. They are added as people participate in the Pre-Loved Program, usually in drops of 5-10.

 

How do I find out about new designs?

We post pretty regularly on Instagram and send out new designs and info through our newsletter. You can sign up at the bottom of our site.

 

Who makes your bags?

We do! With our own hands! Leanne is our designer and bag maker. We are so lucky to have her! No outsourced labor here. You're paying to support our small business and family and we can't thank you enough!

 

I'm a hand stitched nut; Can you make a fully hand-stitched version of a bag?

If it's one of our smaller bags; this may be something we can do but please understand it will significantly increase the cost of a bag due to the time it takes to hand-stitch a design. If you aren't looking so spend 3k+ on a small bag and wait several months this may not be for you. If this sounds like something  send us an email with what you have in mind and we can let you know if that is something we offer. This custom option would not be eligible for return or exchange.

 

Do you have sales or promotions for your leather goods?

We offer 15% off your first order (just sign up for our newsletter) and normally have an Anniversary sale once a year in August. If you don't get an email from signing up for our newsletter, check your spam folder. If it's not in there just send us an email and we'll help you out.

 

Where can I see your bags in person?

Unfortunately, we don’t have a storefront at this time and don’t sell in stores. If you have any questions about our bags we'd be happy to help. We do lots of videos and live streams so if you catch us there ask all your questions! We've been known to send videos or pictures through DMs for specific questions. We occasionally do local markets.
