Why Transparency Matters More Than Ever

Why Transparency Matters More Than Ever

Transparency in fashion has become a growing concern as fast fashion continues to dominate the clothing and accessories industry. Shoppers are asking more questions about how products are made, who makes them, and what the real cost of low prices actually is. In a world where most brands hide their production process, transparency matters more than ever.

There’s a lot of talk about transparency in fashion these days.
But not a lot of proof.

Fast fashion has trained us to expect things we never actually see.
Low prices without understanding why.
Endless newness without knowing the cost.
Clothes appear, trends disappear, and the process stays hidden.

Most of the time, we’re asked to trust without being shown.

We’ve always believed that trust should be earned, not assumed.

Transparency matters because what we wear isn’t neutral. Every bag, every jacket, every tee has a story long before it reaches your hands. Someone made it. Somewhere. Under conditions that either respected their craft or rushed past it.

When that story is hidden, it’s easy to disconnect.
When it’s visible, it changes how we value what we own.

That’s why we do things differently.

We don’t outsource our responsibility or hide behind vague claims. We make our bags in small runs, with real people, real materials, and real limitations. And now, we’re taking transparency one step further.

When your bag is being made, you can actually see it happen.

We’ll film your bag during production and tag you on Instagram or text you the video. Not a generic factory clip. Not a staged moment. Your bag. In progress. Being cut, stitched, assembled by hand.

Because you deserve to know where your things come from.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about honesty.

Handmade means there are fingerprints in the process. Slight variations. Human decisions. Time. Care. When you see your bag being made, you’re not just buying an object, you’re participating in its story.

And that story includes you.

Choosing transparency is an emotional decision. It says you care about how things are made, not just how they look. It says you value longevity over disposability. It says you’d rather wait for something meaningful than rush into something forgettable.

Fast fashion moves fast so we don’t have time to ask questions.
We slow down so you can see everything.

By choosing to shop this way, you’re voting for a different system. One where craftsmanship matters. Where people are visible. Where ownership feels personal.

Your bag isn’t just something you wear.
It’s something you stood behind.

Thank you for being part of this with us.
Thank you for caring.
And thank you for holding us accountable to show our work, every step of the way.

P.s. Want your bag filmed, just put “Film” and your IG @ in the order notes. Not on social media? ( leave your cell number and we can text it too)
