Summer Update
This has been our busiest Summer yet and it kind of caught us by surprise.
As people finish up School, take Holidays, and Travel we usually get a little space to design for the upcoming Autumn, catch up, and deep-clean the workshop but you all had other plans this year.
That being said. We are extending our lead times out to 8-10 weeks. We've updated the site FAQ/Shipping and Order Confirmations to reflect this. It's also possible that this gets pushed further out; we'll see how July progresses. Our goal is to keep this reasonable but we have to be honest about our current capacity as we make plans and changes in our operations.
We are still hoping to keep Goldenrod on track for August Pre-Order Launch.
We know its crazy to even be thinking about Winter Holidays right now but if this pace continues we might be looking at a September Holiday deadline.
We're still wrapping our head around it, too.
We are extremely grateful that you've decided to support our small business and handmade and designed bags. You're helping push us into the next version of Hemlock and Hyde which we couldn't be more excited about.
Please know that we won't be taking shortcuts while making your bags and take our quality incredibly seriously. We proud of what we make and that we get to use leather tanned right here in Pennsylvania.

We are updating the thread we use with Cerulean from Dark Navy to a blue closer to Cerulean. See the image at the top to get a peek at that. We're always making small tweaks to see where we can improve.
The Ainslie is getting a little design update with strap attachments on the gusset instead of under the lid
If all goes well. We have two more designs we're considering to discontinue. The Luna and Maeve 24 will likely be replaced by a new design. Leanne was just sketching a Tote-y design that she's super excited about which would take over these other two designs. We want to squeeze this in for Autumn launch if possible and will keep you posted. We really can't stop her from designing, believe me I've tried.
